Here is what someone who bought this piece had to say:
"The adorable humming bird skull is nestled in his special place of honor in my jewel box and worn with awe! We can't take our eyes off him! Thank you will all my heart, this little one is so happy in his new comfy home! He is admired and a treasured piece of artistry through all time!"
This tiny delicate beautiful piece is lost wax cast in bronze here in NYC. I oxidize blacken each one personally by hand. The lovely figaro Sterling Silver chain with lobster claw clasp are also blackened. The chain is 18 inches which puts it high enough on the neckline that it can be seen.
I have the largest variety of hummingbird skull jewelry in the world. Please click the link below to see the listings:

I have been trying for years to get a hummingbird skull. My cat killed two one afternoon at my studio in TN. Some do gooder (beware of them) threw the little skulls away.
Years later here in the middle of gotham in a teeny apt my friend busts out a hummingbird skull. " Could you do something with this?" I was floored. I took it to one of the last casting houses in NYC and we made a mold and the silver cast was perfect.
The skull measures 1 inch long and 1/4 inch wide.
