Opal Tree Ring

Hard carved here in NYC, this beautiful tree ring is completely unique. I cast these one at a time to keep the quality level high. It is a great size for everyday wear.

Specs : The ring is cast in purified reclaimed .925 Sterling silver. It is 17 mm wide and 10 mm top to bottom. The band is a sturdy 1.7 mm thick at it's thinnest. 

The natural 10 mm Ethiopian opal cab is 6mm tall. The stone is 1st quality with lots of blue and green fire.

The inspiration for this ring actually came from this opal. My gem lady had a few of them and we both were so into them that we spent a lot of time talking about what to do. I think it looks like the moon between two old trees.

I cast this piece in recycled 14k gold as well.
